Just the job for Shannon
Shannon Patterson, 17yrs from Ashington, has managed to land herself an apprenticeship in Business Administration with an expanding training provider based in North Tyneside.
Shannon, who has joined Trade Training Associates (TTA), is following in the footsteps of
Nicol Simpson, who recently completed the same apprenticeship and is now, employed full time by TTA as an administrative assistant.
In her new role, Shannon will receive full training and gain experience of reception duties such as meeting and greeting visitors, answering the telephone and general office duties, as well as providing administrative backup to the many other apprentices TTA employ each year.
Shannon’s appointment follows on the back of the recent appointment of Kevin Hogg’s in the newly created role of, electrical course supervisor.
Specialising in providing training in the plumbing, heating and ventilation, electrical and gas safety fields, TTA was recently awarded a significant training contract by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) and Skills Funding Agency (SFA). Under this contract, TTA will deliver Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships to 16-18 year olds in primarily the Mechanical Engineering Services sector which includes the above mentioned job roles.
Speaking about Shannon’s appointment, director Blake Robinson said:
“I am delighted to welcome Shannon to Trade Training Associate’s growing team. She is guaranteed to benefit from a high level of training and hands-on experience of working within a busy office environment, which I am sure she will enjoy.”
