LSH To Market Rare Jesmond Restaurant Opportunity
National commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been instructed to market the leasehold interest of the well-known Number 88 restaurant in Jesmond, on behalf of a private individual.
Hailed as the North East’s first establishment to serve Hungarian cuisine, the 60-cover restaurant, with an additional 32 covers available to the front terrace, is situated in the lively district of Osborne Road in Jesmond, just short ride by car or Metro from Newcastle city centre.
The restaurant, which is located within The George Hotel - a three-storey, Victorian-built mid-terraced property - boats a range of period features including three feature fireplaces and original sash bay windows.
Tim Denny, Agent at LSH’s Newcastle office, said: “Number 88 represents a rare opportunity to acquire a high-quality site on the iconic Osborne Road, within the suburb of Jesmond.
“The location is highly sought-after, with Pizza Express recently opening its newest restaurant just moments away. As such, we are in no doubt that the restaurant will attract substantial interest from local and national operators.”
